William Skaggs continues to be silent about what happened at Macy’s in Cool Springs. Was there discrimination? Will Skaggs said he would respond, but when I followed up, he hid under his desk and ignored all the follow up. Is this an admission that Will Skaggs does indeed endorse discrimination at Macy’s? It’s just so hard to say. But what can we conclude? Macy’s has continued to fail to respond to inquries from the BBB as well as this website. With Macy’s history of discrimination lawsuits, maybe Macy’s under William Skagg’s leadership does disciminate. Come on William Skaggs – respond the way you said you would. Same goes for Reagan Tinsley of Cincinatti Ohio Macy’s office.
With Macy’s history of discrimination lawsuits one wonders if Macy’s heard of the civil rights movement and desegregation, or if people like me will continue to go to a different register than the other people. William Skaggs and Reagan Tinsely have not come forward with an explanation to counter discrimination. Maybe Macy’s is…a modern day ‘back of the bus’ for people like me.
Macy’s staff like Reagan Tinsley and William Skaggs may do well to read up on the civil rights movement. And then perhaps they will provide an explanation for what happened on that day at Macy’s. Or maybe it wasn’t discrimination at all – but if it wasn’t then why don’t Reagan Tinsley and William Skaggs explain what happened that day at Cool Springs Macy’s as I was dressed in a hoodie a la Trayvon Martin. The only explanation I have is that they can’t.
